My friend is going MUSI20168 Glee Singing and I managed to get the tutorial that he wants but it says both lecture options are full. How is that possible? What is he supposed to do? :S

Can't even make it past the log in page :'(

I'm starting to think I shouldn't even bother planning my timetable so I won't know how much worse my actual one is.

Join a waiting list if there is one, which I doubt, or just email the subject coordinator and tell them. Unless it's a quota subject, they'll have to release more lecture places and/or move it to a bigger venue. Happened in one of my Sem 2 subjects last year; if they've got more students enrolled than class spots available then they'll rectify it themselves, usually.

Don't worry about it too much. He should still be able to go to the lecture he wants, its the tute registration that is more important. Last semester the lectures were recorded too so it doesn't really matter if he isn't registered for the lecture anyway :)

Depends how long the timetable registration lags :/

All the functions should be accessible from the static page though(?)

Had mine planned on Excel with an amazing layout, colours and everything.

Ended up with 6:15-7:15pm tute and 1 less day off than planned LOL
Ditto, I had first and second preferences all lined up, but something tells me they'll all be gone by the time I get in  :'(

Yo guys, quick question. How much time do you usually have to travel from one class to another for back to back lectures? Man needs a toilet break, but doesn't want to miss the intro of lectures.

Yeah, I can't join a waiting list for him. It is a quota subject so I'm not sure what's going on there. I'll keep checking up on it temporarily but I have a feeling he'll need to contact the subject co-ordinator and wait for it to be sorted out. Thanks for the help.

That's good; thanks for sharing!

Lectures end 5 mins early and start 5 mins late. So you have 10 mins

Most classes will finish at five to and start at five past, but some take up the whole hour. Your best bet is to look up where your classes are so you can plan your day. If the two classes are really close or in the same building then you'll have heaps of time, but if you have to go halfway across campus then you might be cutting it kind of close.
