Is the Biology ILT for Biomed students assessed/taken as a part of our final grade?
Yes. Each ILT will contribute a maximum of 1% to your final grade, totaling to 5%. It doesn't sound like much but it adds up, and could be the difference between a H2A 79% to a H1 80%+

It's a good habit to use the literature provided for you to answer questions like these. It takes 30 seconds to check the handbook or the Subject Information section in the LMS to see what the assessments are  :D

My bad. If nothing has changed since last year then the intro ILT is not assessed; the ones that contribute to the final mark will start from ILT1  :)

wam went up a fair bit so cant complain :D

i highly recommend people to do summer school if they get the chance because its alot easier to learn the content for 1 or 2 subjects rather than 4, and they usually make the assessments easier over the break

Yeah, my recent experience also kind of contradicts the 'assessment is easier over summer' trend too, lol.

So a couple hours ago, I received an email to my uni account claiming that they 'updated' the messaging system for faster emails and shared calendars etc. The sender appears to be from a unimelb staff account, but upon closer inspection, the reply address is actually hosted by some random non-unimelb website. It looks like a pretty obvious phishing scam, but I felt like I might just warn anyone who gets the email not to click on the link and obviously not to enter the username/password details they ask for.

But I know the people on AN are already smart enough to know that  ;)  but better safe than sorry...

Congrats!
I was told that i would be notified at the latest by the 24th, but nothing. i sent an email about 4 melbourne time but the ASO takes a while to respond, so i omly heard that i was accepted on the 25th. Still though, i havent been sent the enrolment offer, and refreshing my email every 5 minutes to find nothing is infuriating!
