What subjects are you planning on doing in third year?

Semester 1:
MIIM30011 - Medical Microbiology: Bacteriology
MIIM30002 - Principles of Immunology
MIIM30016 - Techniques in Microbiology
FOOD30008 - Advanced Food Analysis or BCMB30002 - Functional Genomics & Bioinformatics. Maybe both if I overload? (super risky, I know)

Semester 2:
MIIM30003 - Medical & Applied Immunology
MIIM30014 - Medical Microbiology: Virology
MIIM30015 - Techniques in Immunology
Some other undecided subject if I don't overload sem1.

I've got an empty slot for sem2 that I could put adv. techniques in, but that rules out either FOOD30008 or BCMB30002, and there's nothing else of interest I want to put for next semester in its place.

Could someone be able to shed some light on how difficult it is to be admitted into the Doctor of Physiotherapy? (Like WAM reqs etc)
What are the most common pathways when people don't get accepted?

I feel so lost about the pathways I can take at unimelb

I think the best thing would be to speak to your demonstrator and ask them to go through the criteria of the practical with you again and see where and why you lost the marks. If you still disagree with them, you may be able to get it cross checked with another demonstrator :) hope it works out well!

Hate it how on the Accounting WileyPLUS test, once you've locked in a mcq option you can't change it. it's just unfair that you can't change your mind if you accidentally selected the wrong option. it wasn't like this on the first test, it's just that for some reason it happens now (from 2nd test onwards). should i bother bringing this up with either olt, tutor or subj coordinator?

Hello, does anyone know if the Diploma of Languages counts toward the WAM?
Currently doing language as breadth ( arts) and wondering if I move to Dip Lang, whether or not the language subjects results would stand alone?  Language is currently bringing down my WAM overall.

Thanks for any info :)

Yeah that's tricky! You should consider moving Advanced Techniques into your last semester. Wonderful subject and I'm really glad that you're doing it, but it's intense and I'm concerned that with all the other subjects you're doing it won't be a pleasant experience for you.

It should give you 2 attempts for any given question. Are you sure you're attempting to edit your incorrect answers before the given week's 'lockout' date (the cutoff point when the week's answers have to be submitted by)?

Anyone who did NEURO30003 Principles of Neuroscience last year remember what the mid-semester test was like?

Anyone topics favoured? Anything that we should pay special attention to?

I can't remem the specifics but it was fkn hard, they test a lot of details. Focus on pete's section cos his questions are the hardest.

It only gives me one attempt, and I'm not trying to edit incorrect answers as it only tells you what's correct/incorrect after the submission deadline. I think they made this change only very recently as the first test gave outcome of the answer after every question as soon as you pressed the submit answer button.

After the mid sem I learnt to pretty much scribe whatever he says because some of his slides are just images so you need to get down everything he says :P But yeah sorry can't remember specific details
