If you can't add the subject into your study planner then use the enrolment variation form and it should be approved within days.

I am so fucking angry about subject coordinator's not supplying solutions to past exams. Make's me so angry. It's a huge disadvantage for some people (including myself). Especially when the tutorial questions/solutions are formatted differently to the exam questions. Supposedly, you are meant to go to consultations for assistance regarding the past exams. What if you live fucking 1-2 hours from uni? No worries mate, i'm going to spend 3-5 hours in travel time to go to a consultation just to ask a question about the past exam which would take no more than a 10 minute explanation.

This same situation has happened before. However, last time, i had friends who i could discuss the past exam about. This helped me tremendously. Unfortunately this time, i didn't make as many close friends.
I'm going into my exam tomorrow extremely stressed unknowing how to answer certain questions.
I'm considering sending the subject coordinator an email informing him of my opinion. Even though it's too late now.
rant over. >:(

Yeah this is actually an annoying matter 100%. I feel like sometimes the subject coordinators don't actually consider that we might need help. IN all honesty, I think they think we are unstoppable and can do anything when really we need some guidance. I 100% understand we need to be independent but it is not fair to think we can just work everything out at second year like this.

Plus when they give NO past papers, and so you're left in an awkward position to learn absolutely everything because you're unaware of what they will assess. The struggle is real lol.
2013-2014: VCE

Well I mean the guidance is there if you need it, it's just not always actively advertised.

"If it's in the lectures then it's assessable unless I say otherwise." Almost every lecturer says something along the lines of that. There's the expectation that you should know everything in the lectures and not just select parts that seem to be emphasised in the exam. In my opinion, that seems perfectly reasonable. It would be nice to have past papers and solutions though, looking at you MIIM20001.

I couldn't disagree more. According to some lecturers, they are there to help you. But when you email them something and they respond two weeks later basically scolding you for what you don't know, and make you feel stupid for it, I beg to differ with how that is support. I 100% agree that university is independent and I am independently studying myself, however, let's call a spade a spade.

You generally get an email saying if you're successful. These are sent out sometime after the application deadline.

Does anyone know if you get a separate WAM when you start postgrad or are your scores just added to your existing undergrad WAM?

Thanks in advance.
