Had a busy day and hadn't logged on to AN until just now. Interesting.

In other news, we've been cracking into neuroscience the last few weeks and, to my surprise, it's actually going pretty well. The stuff's pretty interesting and you can definitely see there's been a lot of effort go into teaching it well and making sure there are resources there if we need to use them.

That sounds good for a neuroscience major such as myself. :3

It's been alright - difficult though, and not straightforward at all.

So its been settled that there are no lecture recordings for aus politcs, and I'm wondering if anyone knows that not showing up to the lectures would be detrimental to doing well. Should I just switch subjects, although, I will also not be showing up to the lectures. does intro to micro have lecture recordings?

People who have already done bus law, what are the 60 min workshops? are they a one time thing or every week? and are they useful?

The retina stuff yesterday was brutal. Head exploded.

I'm just really liking how the clinical stuff correlates so well to what's going on. Like CSL last week, we basically could map a lesion in the brain just by the symptoms the bloke was showing. That shit was dope

There's 3 for the whole semester. First two go through a practice test to prepare you for the online tests which are weighted 10% each I think. Then last one is exam revision I'm pretty sure.

edit: they aren't compulsory to go to. I didn't.

I think ANAT20006 registration is open now. Haven't received any emails about it, but I was able to register into all the classes.

imho they are a complete waste of time. Basically what happens is you bring your practise test in (which you are supposed to have completed) and then the tutor asks if there were any questions. He also covers the theory surrounding the question.  But most of the time you can find the answer in the textbook or just email Tim (another PBL tutor) and he usually gives detailed responses. When I went there were about a handful of people in the class.
I suggest you go to the first workshop, then decide if you want to go to the rest :)
