I withdrew from one of my subjects this semester so i've only done 37.5 points of study on level 1, and on the course website i just saw that it states that 'Students must complete a minimum of 50 points of study at one year-level before proceeding to the next year-level.'. Does that mean i can't pick any level 2 subjects this coming semester? :S

I doubt it. I had a friend who is a maths-physics buff and he accidentally enrolled into a 3rd year breadth at level one and was timetabled perfectly in and enrolled, he went to the first tute and realised it was way out of his depth, and they said he should change but there was technically nothing stopping him from doing it.

Not sure, but give it a go anyway.

Is it possible to change your stream next year? I'm doing the actuarial stream at the moment (year 1) but I want to change to an economics stream next year.

You can change streams right now if you wanted to. Just go to the student admin page in portal.

Me too.

First only the homepage was 404ed but the other pages (exams, enrolment, etc) were accessible. Now it's the whole portal.

Hey guys i got some questions

1) When does the timetabling open? is it July 1? if so what time and

2) How are we meant to do our timetable if we dont know our results ?  ( i think i failed a subject or 2) Should we just do our timetable anyway on July 1 and than change it depending on our results on july 12?

Not sure what time but yep timetabling opens on Monday.

As for #2 you will be enrolled in the subjects and as provisional results come out you might not be able to sit a subject which has your failed subjects as pre-requisites. As that happens you just need to sort it out with the student centre. The results will be released slowly, just sit tight :)

Definitely do your timetable July 1, you don't want to be left with 8 am tutes etc.

So I was gonna enroll for my breadth but then I noticed I only have two more "choose" slots in my study plan (I've done 3 breadths so far). Is it meant to be like that? I thought we had to do 6 (even numbers just seem more trustworthy). One of them is breadth subjects levels 1, 2, 3 and the other is breadth or selective (does that mean any level?).

Also how's the workload for MIIM20002 - Microbes, infections and responses? Is doing it in combination with Human Structure and Function gonna make me burn out? Only doing it to keep majors open.
