I assumed pick two out of the three courses (or pick a course that isn't listed). But it confused the hell out of me too. :(

Haha I stared at that for five minutes!! I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one confused... Are they really asking us to choose two out of a possible three? Seems.. I don't know, sort of redundant. Guess I'll choose honours and MD.

My question: what is this?

We do look forward to meeting you all at the afternoon tea scheduled for Wednesday 26th February at 2pm in the Sunderland Theatre.

Wait.. what? I flicked over it thinking they were talking about the morning tea on the 28th.. but no. Is this my invitation?

Hey everyone, are there any libraries on campus that are appropriate for tutoring (ie, not silent) and also aren't super full all the time? A few times at the State Library this year I've struggled big time to find a spot with my students.

Biomed library.

No no no no no no no no no. Don't you dare bring your students into our library  >:(

In all honesty, that's probably right though. Although there are times when it's a reallllll struggle to find places in that library.

I think that the large tables in the foyer area of the ground floor of Biomed would be suitable and everyone is plenty loud in that area (aka me).

To be honest calling it a library is overly flattering.

Is it at all possible to fit both the mechanical engineering systems major and the medicine/dentistry prerequisites?
I have to do ESD 1&2, physics 1&2, calculus and linear algebra for mech engineering and I have to do chem 1&2 and biology 1&2 for medicine/dentistry so I really don't think it is possible.
I looked at all the mech eng level 2 and 3 subjects and none of them require ESD 1 or Physics 1. ESD 2 and physics 2 don't require those either so I thought about doing only ESD 2 and physics 2 only but yesterday the engineering guy told me that if I don't do ESD 1 and physics 1 I can't get into the master since ESD 1 is equivalent to eng communication and physics 1 is a prerequisite for the mech and electrical masters.
It seems like I can only fit chemical systems, civil systems or bioeng systems which I am currently not really interested in.
For now I chose to do BIOL10004, CHEM10003, MAST10006 and PHYC10001, hopefully after first semester I can decide what I want to do.
I am thinking about doing accelerated maths instead of calculus 2 but I'm but I'm not too confident with maths after doing so terribly on the 4U test.
