I found a tree bearing a bounty of fruit on campus, and need Flora of Victoria students to tell me if the fruit is edible or will murder me.

Ahhhhhhh close!! The interior of the fruit looks virtually identical; they have the same seeds.

If anyone wants to try them and update on whether they needed to get their stomach pumped, the tree is located in the garden between Grattan St and the 1888 building.

Kinda! My mother was born in Singapore, but her parents were born in China. My father was born in Germany but his parents were born in Austria. I have no idea what that makes.
