Is it really challenging? Not that I can major in it anyway, didn't take GENE20001 :(

I dont think it's that challenging. The content is straight forward to learn but tedious.

For my final research paper, i think i have to 'define how to tackle the question' in the intro. Is it ok to literally go 'the paper will discuss so and so ideas' or is it more of a subtle thing?

Is there a way to find out the numerical result for an assessment rather than the letter grade? It's annoying when the H1 bracket covers such a wide range of marks, or when you don't know how close to the next grade you are...
This isn't entirely accidental. Most tutors won't reveal it because they'll probably change the numbers for assessments when they're giving you your final grade for the subject. Grades for assessments probably aren't meant to be scores so much as indicators of quality. The best thing you can do to figure out what that quality is is to have a consult with your tutor.

It feels weird having to write an essay on a specie of birds called "great tits".

e.g. "An examination of great tits revealed that....."

There are different types of great tits too! Comparing Dutch great tits to British great tits lol -.-

I was stuck on the cardiac cycle image and the kidney questions for so long that I almost wanted to answer with anything just so they wouldn't notice I had been on the same page for 10 minutes. <_< nothing to see here, move along
I loved that cardiac cycle image! We spent a week or two on pressure/volume graphs last year in Physics 2 for gasses... I had to do a double-take to make sure I wasn't in physics or something...

But dem kidney Qs. Dammit Arianne! :'(
