Really? He's really friendly and nice, he reminds me of a Womble a little <3

Yeah, he and Robb were short on the jobs. But God Robb was sweet in our rep meeting: "after the exams, we're all going to have to go out for a coffee!".

Robb returned both of my lost notebooks to the Anatomy department for me, he is forever in my heart <3 Saved 53% of the course right there.

If it were a third year subject, you would have to make sure that research based phys isn't a prerequisite. E.g. you would have to complete research based phys prior to taking muscle and exercise in third year as it is a prerequisite. So there would be that hassle of having to ask the student centre if you can take RBP concurrently in third year etc. I think it would expand your options for subjects in 3rd year by taking RBP in 2nd year.

However it is relatively easy to waive RBP as a prereq - I did that in preparation for a potential Physiology major I would have taken in some parallel universe and all it took was one email to the coordinator.  I think you would also have to submit the email/a form to the student centre for them to take the sanctions off the portal but it was super simple.

Never before have I seen an 84.1% for the pre-exam portion of a subject be the second-highest score amongst ~140 students. Student number 639807, if you can see this, congratulations on your 89 :D

spalvains and scribble: you are now tasked with delivering blow-by-blow reports on the subject.
Will do! I've unfortunately given up on Cell Signalling and Neurochemistry (another BCMB3xxxx subject) as I had the coordinator as a lecturer for another subject this semester and his slides were very badly organised, so I have high hopes for this subject.

Guys if you don't mind, I want to ask what's the difference between 'workshops' and 'practical class', especialy in the case of Physics 1.

Quote
Satisfactory completion of practical work is necessary to pass the subject (i.e. attendance and submission of work for at least 80% of workshop sessions together with a result for assessed work of at least 50%).

Does workshop session there refer to practical work or the tutorial, or the practical and tutorial combined?

Thank You

Sorry for double posting.
Pretty sure in this context it is the practicals they are referring to. I went to none of the tutorials for Physics: Fundamentals (Although slightly different in terms of content, their assessments and requirements were the same) and still passed.

hi! anyone know any level 2 (used up all my level 1 breadth) winter breaths and/or normal term breadths (for BSc) that are either: interesting and moderately difficult, or easy but boring? (or easy and interesting but I doubt there are many hahah)
I'm in second year now, have run out of breadth ideas and was thinking of doing some subjects during the breaks so I can underload during third year or possibly next semester if I'm feeling lazy, also to boost my average as I have fallen deep into the trap of the lazy last minute uni student :S haha

I was going to do AUSLAN (sign language) during the winter break but they emailed me yesterday telling me that I had exceeded the quota ==" and I think the census date for winter subjects is this friday 30th May D: so if you have any ideas for a winter breadth, it's probably either going to have no enrolment quota or be unpopular :\

Thanks in advance! any help would be appreciated

Charles finished really early most the time :P

I hate lecturers that cram so much information into every lecture that it is all rushed!

And then there are those who take it nice and steady <3
