Russ is that guy that just got 'outed' in the tutorial.

Not really, to be honest. Charmanderp criticised the article and the newspaper, not the opinions. T-Rav defended himself after a bitterly sarcastic remark, and I think my reply was relatively empathetic. Not much of a 'lynch mob' here.

Yay. :)

Good luck on your examinations all.

So what does this exactly mean? My sister is just finishing up the same M.Ed course so I'm interested.

You do realise I was making a joke, right?

El, why are both Neuroscience and Neurophysiology on the same day?  That seems like a ridiculous thing.

It really is :(
The staff for both of the subjects said they "tried" to get around it but not much could be done.
Ah well, at least there's quite a bit of overlap (30-40%) in the two subjects.

The rule, generally speaking, is that everyone is joking unless they write a massive wall of text.

Unless your username is pi, in which case the massive walls of text are especially jocular.

The exam time specified on the portal is when the writing  time commences right? And reading time is 15 minutes before the specified time? Because I just got out of an 8.30 exam...  I arrived at 8.35 and assumed that writing that time had started (I saw people around me highlighting stuff and writing as well) so I too started writing... Until at 8.45 the assessor announced that reading time was over and we could now commence writing. So I may have accidentally been writing during reading time... :S
No one said anything to me but is there still a chance that I may have been reported? In fact an assessor walked right past me when I was writing but didn't say anything. In retrospect I should have asked to make sure I could start writing but I'm really worried now. :(

If they didn't say anything to you at the time, you're fine.

Sorry to hear that dude. :( Really not sure what I would do in this situation.
The time allocated on your exam timetable is when reading time commences not the writing time. The people around you that were writing may have been law students who may have had exams at 8:15.
I think if they send you an email or academic misconduct, you could tell them how you saw people around you writing and with all the confusion about reading/writing time, you also started writing (just explain your situation) and I think they will understand.

Good luck!
