My favourite thing about winter break for the rest of my university career will be the fact that there will be multiple parking spaces close to my building on weekends the entire month! Exams aren't even over and already I could choose between like four spots this afternoon! [I feel old]

I think i saw this many pages back.. is there a way to search through the echo database of recorded lectures?

Here's a list of recordings for each subject, most go back a few years.

boop!

Ahh my goodness, thank you so much for this. This is incredibly useful for selecting subjects that look interesting/relevant, as opposed to guessing from the handbook.

I also got to listen to the August 02 2013 lecture in Critical Thinking with Data where I loudly told the lecturer at the end that he was an 'asshole' and then called him an idiot repeatedly ;x I need to stop sitting so close to the microphones.

There is a reason why that link is not shared to the students by unimelb, it is meant for the lecturers, and to use it when you are not one and have not paid for it is copyright.

Now its been shared on a public forum, Melb uni will probably be forced to password protect it, or host it on another site.
So i'd remove it asap from this site man.

I removed it from my own post as protecting lecturers' work is important <3 but will happily PM it to any UoM students who are paying thousands in fees. They should definitely password protect it if they want to...protect it, with passwords.

I'm normally happy to remove content that a lecturer doesn't want distributed (eg lecture slides) but I can't justify removing something that is 100% accessible to the public (the echo database). If there's an issue with that, message me.

nb. the correct approach is to tell the university that having no authentication on an sensitive repository like that is very dumb

I also removed my post which contained the link. Rather make sure something like this is not spoiled because of publicity on an Internet forum.

It's been shared over facebook by the creator and is public on github, not the first time it's come out on a public forum.

But yeah, removed it just to be safe.

When you go to the student centre they have a list of all the subjects you've ever been enrolled in...it's like a list of your indecisiveness.
2013-15: BBiomed (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology), UniMelb
2016-20: MD, UniMelb
2019-20: MPH, UniMelb
2021-: GDipBiostat, USyd

Another quick question;

My mate reckons he failed Calculus 1 but I told him to enroll for Calculus 2 now and register for his classes on the 30th of June anyway.

I heard we don't get our exams back until mid July, so what happens if he gets his exam back (after enrolling and registering classes) and he actually failed?
Will the uni realize and fix it up or will he have to tell the uni himself?

It should notify him automatically
