Should I aim to get my timetable in pretty much as soon as it opens or can I safely wait a few hours?

10am on the dot?
Spam earlier lol, the quicker you get it down the better. You don't want the portal to go down then you'll have to keep checking throughout the day for it to come back up then realise half the classes are gone :s

Is it common for some classes to open early?
Because I was just checking and my French classes were open! So I registered straight away. At least I have one subject down. Worry about the rest tomorrow morning.

So, when timetabling becomes available on the student portal, will it be extremely obvious?

They usually put up a big "Register for classes" link in the middle of the homepage so you won't miss it :)

So with tutes should I try and do T01/1 and T02/1 where I can, or is it no big deal to do T01/1 and T02/5?  Something about teachers teaching at certain times or something?  (Though note for my SPAN 10007 class, T01/1 is from 10:30am - 12:00pm on Monday whereas T02/1 is from 12:30pm - 2:00pm on Wednesday)

Stonecold, I just had a big realisation - I think I've met you!

Oh goodness.  VN meetings never seem to go well haha! ... someone brings it up and it is just plain awkward haha.

Where and when did I run into you?

Keeping in mind that bio workshops is once a fortnight, should I go with Bio Workshops on Monday or Tuesday?

If on Monday....

Monday
BIOL 10004 W01/01 - 9:00am - 12:00pm
MECM 10003 L01/01 - 1:00pm - 2:00pm
BIOL 10004 L01/03 - 3:15pm - 4:15pm

Tuesday
SPAN 10007 T01/2 - 9:00am - 10:30am
POLS 10001 T01/1 - 2:15pm - 3:15pm

If on Tuesday....

Monday
SPAN 10007 T01/1 - 10:30am - 12:00pm
MECM 10003 L01/01 - 1:00pm - 2:00pm
BIOL 10004 L01/03 - 3:15pm - 4:15pm

Tuesday
BIOL 10004 W01/5 - 9:00am - 12:00pm
POLS 10001 T01/1 - 2:15pm - 3:15pm

Not sure if I'd rather have a big sleep-in on Monday every second week and a four-ish hour break on Tuesday, or an hour of classes every second Tuesday.  Leaning towards Bio workshops on Tuesday though because I have 9:00am starts Wed-Fri and having 9am starts every day, every second week, would be gross. :/

Also it's best to have Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 12-2pm off, yeah?
Do you think it's worth having lectures/tutes from 9am-12:30pm on Wednesday to get the rest of Wednesday off and only have one class (9am-10am) on Friday?

T02/5 just means it's tutorial 2 and repeat 5. It wouldn't matter if you enrolled in that as opposed to T02/1, it's just to make classes more flexible for students.
