Hey guys i need your help

i just got an email

Quote
The terms “Prac”, “Tutorial” and “ Lab” are used interchangeably - that is, they all refer to the same thing.  Let us call them tutorials for now. These classes begin in week two (i.e. from the March 11th).  If you have not registered for a tutorial class already then please do so asap.  If you have troubles with registration, then please contact Judi Humberstone ([email protected]).

I did register for a "prac" and according to my timetable it is tomorow at 1:00pm.

So does this mean that it wont be on tomorrow?  does this go for other subjects too?

Yes, it will not be on tomorrow. Should be the case for all subjects unless you hear otherwise (sometimes if a subject has a tute on a Friday it may run in week 1).

I presume this is a message for those doing ONLY Biological Psych - if you're doing both Biological and Developmental Psych this semester, then you will have tutes for Developmental psych this week (week 1) and Biological Psych next week (week 2) as they alternate between weeks :)

lol love the username. Um if you log onto the LMS and go into the specific subject there should be an option on the left "Lectures", and there will be an option to click on lecture recordings or I think it's "Echo" or "Lectopia"

can someone please respond to my question?

If you have a lecture at a certain place, how do you know which room it is in?

Hey guys, so just completed first day of uni and getting stuck into work...just a question:
How do you know what exercises to do from the prescribed texts? Is there a syllabus I can follow or? The books are so big and we only have 12 weeks so I'm assuming we don't go through all the content right?

Usually they will refer to reading, or you can look things up in the back of the book.  Usually you won't have exercises prescribed.  If you want to do some practice questions from the book you can search for them yourself, welcome to university.

Thanks :D
So the questions in the question booklet given to us should be enough?
