Just Charles himself = mesmerising.
I hope he googles himself and finds my praise for him.

In the introductory lecture last week Charles was like you would be crazy to take Human Physiology for any reason other than it's a pre-req for your major/post-graduate preferences and this girl seated next to me was like "No Charles, I'm taking it for you!". Not sure if she was serious but everyone who heard her were laughing lol.

Well, Charles stressed about it a bit in the lecture, and when I asked about it from other people who've done it before I got the "you'll see" response.  ::)

But I loved that subject ): I thought it was pretty manageable as in I would take it as an elective because it didn't seem too hard to me?  Maybe it's an individual experience type thing!

I wish Dawn Gleeson would speak just a little slower and a little more clearly so I didn't have to Lectopia all her lectures after attending in person :(

She was one of my favourite lecturers. But yes, she packs a punch in her lectures. This is good though, because it EASILY 'overprepares' you for the exam. I would not be surprised if there are quite a few people who ace her section of the exam or get very near nonetheless.

Is it just me or do I get the feeling that Deb King is going a bit slower/dumbing down the course slightly in real analysis compared to previous lecturers?

It seems to be a subject that is taught by different people in different semesters. So the content seems to vary quite a bit.

What has she done so far? What are you comparing it to?
Voltaire: "There is an astonishing imagination even in the science of mathematics ... We repeat, there is far more imagination in the head of Archimedes than in that of Homer."

I was listening to the 2011 recording of the subject by Barry Hughes I think (there was a link in one of the subject reviews), and he seemed to cover in his first lesson what we covered in the first week (just basic logic and stuff).

She may have slowed it down a bit because the lecture recording had been stuffing up for the first week, so maybe it'll pick up now?

For Human Physiology blogs, does anyone who has done the subject before, know how much we need to participate to get full marks?
I want to get full marks without bulldozing the blog hahaha :/
