Lol i didn't think of stealing mine when I did the experiment.
Pretty sure I just walked out and was like "yeah whatever, dna whoop-de-doo"

What...when I was in first year we got to keep our DNA sample we extracted...I still have mine.  Aka I have a jar of liquid because the DNA no longer looks like DNA/even is DNA argh it's been too long.
I wish they still sent those nice letters in third year ):
The last one I got was last sem though, for BCMB lawl.

mine got shaken up in my bag and now its all liquid with a tiny ball of white stuff that looks like snot/cotton. ;n;
i've wanted to take the stuff we make in chem so many times as well, except that the demonstrators actually take them up and i dont want them to be like "lol this girl got a yield of 0". </3

nah it was dna from attenuated e.coli
though i wish we did it with own dna, that wouldve been so cool :'D

Does BCMB refer to Biochemistry & Molecular Biology?! If so, where is mine!! I got 81  :'(

Lol you would probably have to learn the properties of every amino acid in all the possible reactions out there and amino acid structure would be assumed knowledge right from the start.

Wish we could have her for 2nd year genetics. How monotonous was the first lecturer??! I kept falling asleep when I listened to the recordings

I know right!! Dawn makes the cutest jokes. God the first lecturer sounded like she was sleep talking :/ I'm finding biochemistry much more interesting right now lol

Tutoring can be extremely flexible, all you _have_ to do is turn up for your 6 classes if you're otherwise busy.
The rest are all time intensive though, you'll be there 9-5 for a couple of weeks. Still fun.
