It took about 2 weeks for 10004 to come out, I expect it to be similar for 10005.

Urgh not looking forward to bio MST results at all. Overthinking things really bites you in the ass.

I can't wait for this semester to end already...stats and physics cannot drag on for any longer.

Does anyone from previous BIOL10005 cohorts happen to recall roughly how many weeks their MST results took to be released? I'm getting impatient and just want my 1/25 already  :'(
The average was 14 apparently :(  Our tutor said it was harder than previous years

It sure sounds like it, I thought the MST last year was easy and people I knew thought they did quite well overall

You're getting silly now :P

I remember times when it was acceptable to wait >1 week for marks to be returned.  Now, in my classes, people wait three days before outrage sets in.  WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG.  HOW IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME.  etc. etc.
I admire your patience.

Oh well, glad my outrage at the dreadful format of the test turned out not to be just me :s
And now I can feel better about getting 1/25 :D

Maybe they made the midsem this year harder because last year ours was quite easy. We had quite a number of people with full marks.

Last semester our bio MST had an average of 21/25, which was way too high in my opinion.

But it wasn't just more obscure content, it was poorly worded and constructed vague questions :( There were people at the top of the mark hierarchy who had spent a full week studying who came out actually crying. I think a lot of the questions would've been easier for people who didn't study everything because the peripheral information wouldn't've been there to confuse them.
My opinion on this stands no matter whether my mark is 5 or 25.

Dawn wasn't particularly happy with it either. When we had the SSLC meeting last semester, she said that this semester's would be designed to be harder because the average was far too high. That said, they've had all sorts of problems with this semester's as well. Rob Day had trouble with a few of his questions—something he seemed more than happy to cop on the chin.

Out of 25, but there were three questions (not explicitly described as being) worth 2 marks.

Be glad that you aren't doing economics haha. Every assessment task suffers from this. Economists ain't linguists by any means.
