They might be a little too confident and somewhat careless

Or just decided that were going to fail no matter what and thought way waste such a beautiful day?

OMG worst exam for so many reasons: the exam seat thing didn't even matter in the end and lucky my friends and I checked the sheet at the venue because they CHANGED PEOPLES SEAT NUMBERS. And the lms had said my friend and I were in the same seat lol. But of course this lead to like everyone not knowing where they were sitting and being like 'you're in my seat' and the subsequent musical chairs. Oh my god. Then, the actual exam was horrible and impossible to finish properly in time 3: didn't get time to check over my answers for everything and barely finished giving bare minimum info without detail ): I hope they're kind...

Note to self: acquire normal sleeping pattern at least 3 days before an exam...

Woke up at around 2am and spent the next 4 hours tossing around in bed before giving up, showering, and revising like 5 lectures before leaving. Thank God for caffeine.

All good points. This may be feverish imaginings, but leaving early seemed contagious. Large clusters of people sitting close (regardless of whether it was the same exam) were more likely to leave around the same time. Northwest of my desk were ~20 empty, consecutive desks. But everyone southeast remained. Since I was on the border, I felt like I had contained the virus.
...Too much social psychology revision.

Oh God, all my sympathy. I did that last semester and barely functioned through the exams, pumped myself with coffee and as a result was further distracted during the exams by needing to pee. Abstaining from caffeine the day before helped.

Ballerina MBB2 is one of those subjects where they test your understanding rather than how much you can do in x amount of time.  Treasure it while it lasts and don't get freaked out over it - they're quite vocal re: their intentions.  When you get to third year your life will be filled with people saying things like 'now you have 5 short answer questions and they're worth 50% of your final grade and you must finish each of them in 20 minutes...so about 5 pages per question should do it' and then you just end up with people crying around you (not joking, happened today, happened in Bacteriology) because it's physically impossible to show you understand something in that short a period of time and they have studied so hard and they know the answers but they can't actually get it on the page with 10, 5, 2 1 minute left.  ARGH.

I wish I could leave exams early ever anymore.  I WISH I COULD FINISH PAPERS EVER ANYMORE.

As someone experienced in this field (5am bedtime all week, completely alert by 5 30am this morning) I suggest - go for the sleep pattern you choose throughout swotvac and in the last weekend before you start don't let yourself have more than 4.5-5 hours sleep a night but you can still sleep whenever you want (eg 5am wake up at 10am).  You won't feel the effects at first.  Then you'll be super tired around 9:30 the night before your exam and get a good 8+ hours and feel perky.

Yet defeated, in my case.

I know. Although MBB2 is straight-forward, I'm glad I left after the 2 hour mark; they give you so many of the points that it's easy to fall into a false sense of security. With such generous markers, I should be aiming for 90s and doublechecking my answers thrice.

...On the other hand, I would be thrilled with a pass in Chemistry 2.

Was virology the one on today? Super scared for both virology and bacteriology now! Even for my 2nd year microbes exam I feel like I know nothing D:

Yup it was Virology.  Bacteriology itself wasn't bad at all our exam was just terrible - same amount as today almost but in 2 hours...and even today was too hard to finish in time ): It's an 80% exam though so like, it all rests on doing well on it.  Ughhh.

Thanks for your support simpak ♥ And no, Levi, I'm sorry, you'll only get a 92 and will have to repeat chemistry over the summer ;__;

Wow now I understand why 2/3 of my Calculus 2 tute group were repeating this semester. That was one tough exam.

So I just had my Algorithms and Data Structures exam today. Pretty sure I just got my first H2, made so many stupid mistakes now I think about it. I've roughly guessed that I should get 77.5 < Mark < 82.5 so we'll see how we go. A little pissed off tbh.
