Even if they are offers for interview rather than course offers?

The chancellor's scholar course doesn't require the interview. The interview is optional and something you sit once you're offered a place in the course, in order to pass the interview hurdle for the postgrad MD.

Oh yes of course how stupid of me. Thanks russ, dont mind my stupidity.

I have heard for that chancellor's program though that if you dont pass the interview at the beginning of the course that you can redo it at the end of it? Would you or anyone else be able to confirm this?

Yes, that's correct. I'd strongly recommend that you sit the MMI if you do get offered a place in the Chancellor's Scholars Program. From what I've heard, it is MUCH easier to pass the interview before you begin your undergraduate course.

Yeah theyre pretty quick to pick them all up hahah.

But because theyre so immediate with offers, does that mean that if one does not do well on the interview, they would not be eligible for a monash one in the case that they have attained the requirements?

Well the final offers are via VTAC, you can tell UoM you accept their scholarship but if MBBS @ Monash is first then you'll get that if you make it.

This could also be because the kind of people who get into the Chancellor's program are naturally proficient at interviews also :P

So monash mbbs must be first for an interview offer to be handed out? And will i still get the call from UoM even if its 3rd on my preference list (assuming i do well enough on monday)?

what happens if we past the interview to do medicine after biomedicine at university of melbourne, however this is our second preference and monash university MBBS is our first preference? does monash still consider us?

You'll get the MBBS spot at Monash if they want you :)

No, it just has to be on your preference list. If you have 99.90+ and still want a spot in Monash MBBS as your first pref, then you'd want to have it on the top of your list.

Still haven't taken mine since I only got my results in early January (IB).
I'm hoping that's the case otherwise dentistry has no interview requirement in the event of a massive failure! :P

So best if i change biomed chancellors from 3rd to 1st in case i can get that? That way ill still get the monash interview if im eligible?
