Science. And I qualify for access Melbourne under financial disadvantaged.

Try here. Pick 'Undergraduate' in the 'Category' field and then browse through them. There should be a few awards for financially disadvantaged students, such as the 'Hilda Trevelyan Morrison Bequest'.

For what it's worth, I hated FFAHP....I think I put up a review in the subject reviews.
I tried to be as objective as possible  :)
I hope that kind of helps haha

Which degree? I know someone who had mid 90s for the Commerce Honours List. (He did it for all 3 years as well -_-  )

Well I heard for first-year Science it's been as low as around the 85 mark D:
I'm hoping that's true since Calc 1 dragged my average down to 87.25 which seems very borderline.
Apparently Biomed has a much higher cutoff average in first year though, no idea about Arts/Commerce/Agriculture/Oral Health/Environments/Music/Fine Arts :P

Those others would be lower than Science/Biomed, as it's more difficult (i.e. extremely rare each semester) to get 85+ grades in most Arts/Commerce subjects. Probably low 80s.

There are a great many science subjects in which marks of above 85 are also extremely rare, I assure you (and have actual data to back up my claims for two of them). The mode of assessment has a pretty big impact on scores, as does the exact material, but the huge range of science subjects means individual anomalies probably get dampened down. I wouldn't be surprised if arts had a very similar Dean's List mark to science. I'd assume biomedicine has a higher average due to the high competition of students for a graduate place and the low number of anomalous subjects like Calculus 1/2 in *first year* that dramatically pull down the first year average.

For dean's, do they count all your subjects done? Or subjects for that year?
I had 10 subjects in year 2, and will have 6 in year 3.

They roll around every year. I believe it's not just your average, but they also take into account the number of subjects you have done. After all, it wouldn't make sense for someone to be on the list because he had a 95 average but only did 2 subjects per semester.

Yeh I've heard marks for Science Deans is around 85 + ...
What's funny is that Calculus 1/2 have average marks around 50's to 60's which messed up my average for this year as well LOL

Isn't the rule just completing 100 points thoughout the year or something if I recall correctly? So that would mean 8 subjects the standard. I assume that overloading 10 they would just average 8 and use the other 2 for the year after?
