Two things:

1) Is anyone here doing a Chemical Systems major? I just have a quick question for you.

2) People doing concurrent diplomas, do you know if it's possible to commence PG studies whilst still finishing off your Diploma subjects?  Or do you have to finish both your UG and the Diploma before commencing PG studies?

I know someone doing chem sys at our university, what was your query? I've finished all the Human Phys notes and can mail you the extra copy if you'd like to message a postal address.  :-*

I got an offer for bachelor of science, and I'm just wondering how good engineering at Melbourne compared to Monash?
I hear so many people saying Monash is better, any opinions or experince

Thanks

I was on campus during VCESS and 'literally' ran into scribble on the staircase- she sprayed me with water ♥ - but I didn't see anyone with a charmanderp name tag! Or any other familiar faces! Disappointed.

Without knowing first hand, Masters and Honours programs seem to only require that you finish your undergraduate? Diplomas appear to be a separate affair and wouldn't be considered.

'Master of
Engineering
(Biomedical)'

Entry Requirements

'An undergraduate degree with an
average   grade   of   65%   in   the   final
two years including the equivalent of
25 points (2 subjects) of first year
mathematics, specifically Calculus 2
and   Linear   Algebra   (or   equivalent)   and
25 points (2 subjects) of first year
Biology   or   Chemistry   (or   equivalent).3,4'

Hey Nat, yeah I know I would qualify to start the Masters but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to continue the concurrent diploma (as it says it's exclusively for UG studies) if I start PG studies.

you can't graduate from your undergrad until you complete your diploma. so you won' be able to start postgrad/honours until the diploma is done.

Hence the overloading for you hey :)
Considering doing the Informatics one anyway and finishing in 3.5 years, taking 6 months off for travel and then begin the Masters.

yeah. Q_Q though there's a relatively large chance that i'll end up just dropping the diploma. I'm not sure how much i'll fancy overloading in third year.

has anyone managed to have a loan extended by a librarian? :'( the whole 24 hour loan and no renews thing is really annoying at the moment since there's a bajillion copies of the book available because no one wants it over the holidays.
