No uni subject is worth $4000 IMO. Could probably make that amount of money from part-time working during that semester.

Could you try (super hard) to get some kind of internship Hancock?  I'm not sure exactly what is available to you and fits your interests, but I did three subs in my sem 2 and UROP helped to ensure I was still entirely stressed, thank goodness!

Your signature makes me feel unwelcome to UoM bro

I will fight for us jaffy's rights!

N'awww, is this better? It just reminded me of a lot of my essays in English. I still interpret language overly literally, but I used to be really literal. "Ugh, I almost died during that exam." "Oh, are you an asthmatic?"

idioms are scary

This is the most beautiful example of this I've heard hahahaha

The darkness that followed November 2013 is nothing to be scoffed at. It's been two months since we saw the light. Death quickly followed, for life could not sustain itself in such an environment. Only now that Ballerina has brought joy upon the world once more might we lucky few survivors rise up from the ashes and be anew.

I think any universal turn for the better came after this:

I pooed and ate Coco Pops this morning, and that was still related to The University of Melbourne.

I guffawed and cringed at the same time, it was magnificent. All hail Ballerina!

I'm now too embarrassed to enter this thread for the next month. Charmanderp has mad literary skills, though! Intense ~imagery~
May need to turn that into a screenplay.

For subjects such as intro microeco, which has two 1 hour lectures per week. Do we need to schedule both lectures before the relevant tutorial?

"True mosaicism should not be mistaken for the phenomenon of X-inactivation, where all cells in an organism have the same genotype, but a different copy of the X chromosome is expressed in different cells (such as in calico cats). However, all multicellular organisms are likely to be somatic mosaics to some extent.[11]"

She isn't exactly overqualified to teach university-level genetics, either. :O
She's pretty cool, though.

Her area of expertise is "Biology teaching" as well. I quite like Dawn but wow...
