What are peoples though on doing a full-time study load (Masters) at one Uni and a part-time load at another uni (Grad Certificate)?
Are you even permitted to enrol in two units at once?
[I would ditch my job if I were to do this, btw].

Integrated Principles of Zoology is the best textbook in the entire world. The first six chapters cover literally almost all the genetics, chemistry (even stuff like stereochemistry) and cell biology we did in earlier life science classes as well as extra info we never received so it's like I could learn from the ground up without ever having taken a class in biology before. THERE ARE EVEN PROBLEM SETS. I just felt like putting that out there, this is the best textbook I've ever seen and you should all appreciate its amazingness. IT EVEN HAS A JESUS LIZARD ON THE FRONT COVER.

Hello guys,

As I'm relatively new to the city, what can you say about the security of the campus area (Parkville) in general? Are the streets safe during night time? e.g Swanston, Lygon, Grattan.. etc.

Welcome mate.
They can get pretty rowdy with drunken revellers, especially on weekends.
But overall they are safe if you are sensible.
Don't walk through unlit parks at night, don't wave your wallet/handbag around too much.  etc etc.

Also, depends on your gender and nationality. If you are a female walking alone, I wouldn't recommend it just to be safe.

I'm male (I haven't changed the setting yet). I understand that gender is quite important factor in this case, but nationality?

racial attacks do occur from time to time and you'll hear about it on the news. A lot of the time they report subcontinental people being attacked (indian/sri lankan etc)

I'd say it's 50/50. Definitely not just based on attendance, best to engage in a bit of discussion here and there/ ask questions/ respond to questions.

Haha sorry I can't help myself. I'm trying to relax a bit more. Disorganisation leads me to feeling overwhelmed, out of control and anxious. :P Thanks for your help. :)
