does anyone know how to set up the uni email on the iphone gmail app? it makes me sign into the unimelb portal, which then brings up a mobile version of gmail inside the actual gmail app, and doesnt keep progressing through the set up...

Why don't you just set it up on iPhone Mail?

Melbourne is relatively safe. If I'm walking alone in the city at night I position my hand inside my purse as though I'm holding mace or something sharp ready (it's usually a sandwich or Kleenex tissues) and haven't encountered trouble yet.

Eeee I got to meet hobittle over sweet chilli tofu! She is a pretty blonde who was dressed completely in black due to her backstage theatre role, it was very cool.

It was fun!

Would anyone like to join me in posting encouraging and overly complimentary responses whenever a Bachelor of Arts student appears on the forum, so that charmanderp has a BA friend? And because it would be amazing to learn more about linguistics/history/politics from their posts <3

So the other day we got given back our Spanish exams, and I found that they'd forgotten to take off a mark that they should have. I decided to do the honourable thing and tell them, which was all fine because they'd made another mistake so I'd get the mark for that...but then they found another with everyone's exams and had to take a mark off for that. :(

where 'tutorial participation' is assessed. do I have to engage in the goings on or is it more so a matter of rockin up for free marks?

If you're going to go (and its a discussiony sort of tute), please don't be afraid to speak. Nothing worse than a dead silent tute.

Feel free to shoot me a PM pertaining to getting to M.Eng through the Environments course, or the Envs/Eng courses in general.

And debating during tutorials is fantastic.

YOU DO AND HOPEFULLY I'M STILL INCLUDED IN THAT LIST AAHHAHA. I meant a Bachelor of Arts friend; the UoM forum is under constant siege by science (represent) and biomedicine. Hopefully the 2014 intake will give Arts/Commerce a fighting chance. Environments and Agriculture may be a lost cause.

It's a honour just to be waitlisted <3

I haven't met an Agriculture student before either!!! Finding one must be like witnessing aurora borealis for the first time.

I got a few Environments (either architecture or engineering) friends and am rooming with one next year, agriculture (and oral health, music) are probably lost causes.
