Are practical, problem-based classes the same actually like tutorial class? Because strangely I don't see any "tutorial" class in my timetable or during class registration.

Likewise, seminars are just a way of warning you that the uni is being stingy and giving you a big class size and workshops are the same except super stingy.

Summer intensive starting tomorrow is the weirdest thing in the world; there's no massive rush from the whole student body to get ready for the year and everything feels unusually relaxed.
VCE: Chemistry | Biology (2011) | English (2011) | Environmental Science | Mathematical Methods CAS

2013-2015: BSc [Zoology] @ UoM | DLang [German - DISCONTINUED]
2016: GDSc [Botany] @ UoM
2017-2018: MSc [Biosciences - Zoology] @ UoM

You wait and see. The last week or so it's become really busy on campus. January, so chilled. Now it's starting to get a little crazy!

So, my girlfriend of 4 years moved to SA for the year and we've decided to break up to save us the heartache of a long distance relationship. In a really bad place, AN. Looks like I'll be posting a little more than usual.

I'm so sorry Hancock. Seriously PM if you need. I did a long distance relationship for 2.5 years. You've made a tough decision. Massive hugs (if you're into that). :-(

oh my god Russ, LeviLamp and I went to ScienceWorks yesterday and I so badly want to post the animation with Russ and I in tentacles and reptile legs fighting off giant glowing orbs of injustice but won't Russ won't let me >>>>>:c

You seemed like a very dedicated, devoted partner and she was lucky to have you. Hobbitle and I are both at Southbank campus all week - I for Painting Techniques, hobbitle because she's a backstage ninja - and if you're ever in the city for your research assistant position, you're more than welcome to free lunch. Everyone would be very happy to see more of you on AN; after all this time, you're still an ~enigma~. LET'S ALL UNRAVEL THE RIDDLE THAT IS JAMES.

This is a fantastic idea that should happen sometime in the next fortnight.

Sounds good to me guys. I've finished my RA position, but I'll be in uni on Friday if you're keen.

Sweet! I have no idea what the schedule is like yet as Painting Techniques starts tomorrow and intensive classes are unfamiliar territory. But presumably VCA will give a one hour break around midday for lunch. And if they don't, it's irrelevant. I would love to see them try and get between myself and lunch.

Hancock, we'll be at the Southbank campus. Come visit! Blondie cafe next door is pretty good (a bit pricey tho).
Ballerina, VCA standard shut down time for lunch was 1-2pm when I was there but could differ for art school.
I'm technically on shift most of the time but I spend like 80% of the time studying in the office haha.

Thanks guys, it really does mean a lot. I'm not too fussed about prices, I'm saving up for Europe at the end of the year, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna become a stinge haha.

Hey Hancock, considering how awful the method of teaching programming was in ESD2, is it much improved with Alistair in COMP20005?
What/how do they teach in the lectures?
Because the way that Rao dude did it in ESD2 was tragic....

How does one prove that one is a full stop student without one having to pay one cent?
