I did it through PayPal. I never received any confirmation from Co-Op and there is no transaction history under my account on their website, but the payment has gone through. I've called them up and there is no record of my order. Anyway, PayPal are onto it and are in the process of demanding that the transaction be processed or cancelled. Thank goodness they're playing hardball for me.

So I received an email about the mentorship program involved in the Chancellor's Scholar Program and I'm not understanding this part here:

The allocation of your academic and student mentor will take place during the first two weeks of semester and in order to facilitate this process we would like you to nominate two interest areas from the courses highlighted above. This will help us to try and achieve the most optimal pairings. If you have another interest area not represented here please feel free to nominate.

NB: The courses "highlighted above" were the Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Dental Surgery and Honours (research) year.

What does it mean by "interest areas"? Does it mean potential career options or general personal interests? :S

Basically they assume most students are interested in one of those three and they'll match you with a student in one of those courses. I'm doing it for people who ticked the MD box for example (not for this intake but for the older ones)
