Was not too bad i think. Quite a few questions repeated from previous years in the genetics part
There was a question on the 2013 MST1 on developmental genetics (near the end with the image of the activators and repressors) that we had never gone through before in any detail whatsoever; it was a tricky one, such that less than 25% (I think) of people got it right despite there being 4 options. But that was the only exception, most of the questions if you have done the work should be accessible. MST2 I found was easier than MST1, so it should get even better from here.
hmm I probably should limit cartoon-watching time to a maximum of 4 hrs/day
Where have you been?!?! How are ~your~ subjects?
I'm still here! Though I am posting a lot less frequently... Including this post 8 for the whole year so far haha...
Been more busy recently.
How are ~your~ subjects?
I love my subjects this semester. Thanks for asking.
There is a large workload, but I am enjoying them.
I love the clarity of the lectures in Immunology and Bacteriology, they are taught well.
Molecule to Malady is a wonderful subject; at the same time it has the largest workload and assumed knowledge. But we learn about a number of diseases of which are well taught and interesting. To incorporate patients in the subject gives it a bit of a Genetics, Health and Society-like twist as well.
This semester, I chose an additional selective instead of a breadth: FOOD20003: Food Chemistry, Biology and Nutrition.. It is a good subject. Maybe it would do the person you were complaining about a favour lol.
