I'm planning on taking one English subject which would count towards my major, two Arts electives and one breadth subject. So I'd assume that for the English subject I'd have to take an equivalent, but it wouldn't matter so much for the others? Do I have to run the English subject by the English major coordinator separate to the process for the others?

It should be a similar process for all of them, if you want the subject to be an equivalent one then you have to find the unimelb subject that would be a part of your major and tell them you want it to be equivalent to that.  But sometimes without you saying anything they can approach you and say you have the option of equivalency.

It's not like this is the first time the LMS has died.
Did the IT guys go on Easter break?

I really hope this problem on the LMS gets resolved...unable to see my 2 updates on grades just irks me...

Yeah it probably won't be fixed until next business day as IT go on break.

Does it work if you go into the home page for your particular subject and click my grades there?
For instance when I enter the muscle & exercise physiology homepage, i'm able to click my grades and see my midsem result on that.

It's spectacularly unlikely that anything on the LMS is actually important over Easter

Tuesday is a uni holiday too (afaik) so it probably won't be fixed until Wednesday as 'next business day'.
