Hmm I've re-checked the email I got sent and it specifically says that Fail marks were removed from calculation, but you're right that doesn't explain the missing percentages. Error in rounding perhaps?

Oh yes, learning to write APA style psych reports is the most annoyingly anal process imaginable! But when you've written enough of them they become 2nd nature to you.

@Ballerina: Do it, it's so much fun! The assignment is about moral psychology and the 'Trolley Problem' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trolley_problem). Unfortunately though the MBTI isn't acknowledged as scientific enough to be in the course :P

Awwwwh I'm taking cognitive psych instead. Bahaha are there valid personality tests out there though? That would be neat.

I wanna know now too!
I couldn't find it, but I found this
http://www.statisticbrain.com/iq-estimates-by-intended-college-major/

I'm sure there are stats out there which show the exact opposite, but interesssting. Life sciences seem to be somewhere in the middle. YAYYYYYYY WE'RE NOT BELOW AVERAGE~**~~

I love that 'undecided' is 106.2, team effort guys

Aw no D: What sort of predicament does this place you in?

Also @marr and Ballerina, the fail rates for psychology are really, really low p___p

Why so?

Spanish just isn't worth taking an extra semester or overloading. That and if I did decide to do some summer subjects, any breadth I'd do would fall in third year and that would be a huge risk GPA wise because it gets x3.

There's heaps of different personality tests out there but the '5 factor model' is supposedly the most valid with a fair bit of literature to support it. I think MBTI is the most well known though (INTJ represent :) ).

Conducting research into personality traits would make a fascinating honours project.

So anyone have any idea when the sem 2 timetabling is going to be open? Like, before or after July starts?

My guess would be Monday 30th of June (exactly 4 weeks before Semester 2 starts).

It's usually about 4 weeks before the start of the semester.  So... it'll be open around when Semester 1 exams finish.

You sure are living the hard life...
(In all seriousness though, if you can't get access to the Internet during the time registration opens/have to be awake at 3 am to register, I can understand your grievance.)

Nah, 10 am here would be during the day over there.
However, I do need to ensure I'm not on a plane on that day. I need to start planning the trip now and if timetabling happened during a plane trip...

We're all bitter, passive-aggressive husks of people who adore griping about complaints perceived as less important than our own, yes :(
(I don't even know if that's a joke.)
