It won't make too much of a difference for many. Level 1 and Level 2 breadth difficulty overlaps a lot depending on the subject.

I've had more successes in level 2 breadths than level 1s lol

I agree. My best breadths happen to be second year subjects. I should have been more specific in my previous post. The kind of breadths I had in mind were commerce subjects and languages which were the only kind of subjects I would consider doing until I took a look at other possible breadth options... I was surprised by all those interesting subject choices I had within level 2 and 3.

MLS said they can see all the subjects you've done in undergrad so I'm not sure if they'll look down on an applicant doing 'easy' breadth. It's hard to resist a WAM booster though!

You don't have to pick an easy breadth. Just do something you might enjoy... something that would take your mind off your hectic third year subjects. You are likely to stress less and do better in third year then. And I don't think the Law School would care much for what breadths you do. Surely they can't look down on someone wanting to 'expand their knowledge and interests in other areas other than their chosen field and experience very different ways of thinking' (which is what breadths are meant to do according to the science student centre)

I had more success in a level 3 one than a level 1 one, but then again the level 1s I chose were from the arts faculty.
EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE living longer: a global diagnosis in semester 2- level 3. You could miss all the lectures and easily H1 the subject. I would take the subject again if I could :'(

The assessment is weekly blogs which you could just write based on lecture notes/ finding info online.
Tutorial participation- Just say a few words here and there, but the stuff that is discussed is hardly ever relevant to the course.
Research essay at the end of the semester which again, is based minimally on lecture notes and more about finding info online.

Thank you! Hmm...30% exam...but group work. 30% exam...but...group...work...

The extent of group work is just operating the lab equipment on others and confirming with others if the notes you have taken about the research results are correct. Good to get their emails if you are stuck on any particular research lab report questions but outside of the class, 90% of the work is individual where you answer your questions/write the lab report (the whole collusion thing still applies here).

yayyy last result for psych back, h1. x3 Biological Psychology has been a lot of fun, +1 recommend.

I did intensive Spanish and am doing intensive Greek this winter. Hello underloading for the rest of my degree :D

I really want to find a fun winter subject I can do well in, but when people say Greek 1 is easy I feel like they're either Greek or smart, or Greek and smart!

Because of overloading in 2nd year, and a summer class over 1st - 2nd year, I only have 2 classes in 3rd year, sem 2. Dat free time

Yeaaah but you're doing engineering, so your 2 subjects in that semester will be like overloading with 5 subjects + a diploma anyway. n_n

I had more success in a level 3 one than a level 1 one, but then again the level 1s I chose were from the arts faculty.

Living Longer sounds really interesting, thank you for the suggestion! :o The only con for me would be that enrolling it may not help the circulating pre-med rumours ahahahahah

I am so antisocial that I study in fire escapes loll. And kind of enjoy coming and going as I please, which might be why I lack labs in my timetable. But I should probably be an adult and take research phys, thanks so much for the explanation xo

It doesn't look tooooo bad, although Ancient Greek is a pretty tricky language. You should do it though :D

If I didn't go back home for the holidays I definitely would do a summer/winter intensive. Did you go into both with any prior knowledge of the language?

Spanish I had to do Spanish 1 and 2 during the year first, though Ancient Greek will require no knowledge. Whether or not that makes me die a lot, we shall see.

Use Print Anywhere from your web browser using your login and UniWireless. Then find any printer and swipe your ID card then select your document to print.

How do I do that on an iPhone?? Or should I just find a computer at a library

Howw about I wait for you to finish it and report back, then decide to take it next year based on how dead you are n_n

Find a thing that almost looks like an ATM in a library (it should be near a printer), tap your ID card to it, and insert coins.
