The one here is almost certainly the biggest collection of UniMelb subject reviews. There are a handful of other subjects with small reviews in the Course Counter handbook, but I've never been able to find any elsewhere :(
VCE: Chemistry | Biology (2011) | English (2011) | Environmental Science | Mathematical Methods CAS

2013-2015: BSc [Zoology] @ UoM | DLang [German - DISCONTINUED]
2016: GDSc [Botany] @ UoM
2017-2018: MSc [Biosciences - Zoology] @ UoM

Summer: BOTA30006

S1: BOTA20001 | EVSC20004 | BOTA30003 | BIOL90001

S2: GEOG20009 | BOTA30002 | BOTA30005 | EVSC20003 | NRMT90002

Subject and major reviews incoming :)

Yeah, we've all heard bad stories about them sadly. Somehow I feel that one day I'm going to show up in a lab and just get knocked out by a lecturer.

To those who have been adding their subject reviews and ratings over the past few days: Thank you!

b^3 and I curate the index of those threads, and it's a really great thing to see people sharing their views on subjects - this, in my mind, is a very useful resource for AN to have and it's fantastic that people are weighing in and providing useful information in an easy-to-read format.

Thanks again :)

I can't wait to start writing up some reviews myself. I've already got some ideas of what I want to say. I just want to get my exams out of the way first, but I promise I'll contribute! (I'm mindful of the fact I haven't contributed terribly much in the past 12 weeks due to their intensity, but I hope to make up for this over the break :) ).

I'm really curious, what bad stories did you hear??

I was saying that i'm not a very good reviewer, didn't mean to say the genetics major was horrible.

I think he was referring to a couple of incidents where students were taken aside at uni because a lecturer read something negative in an AtarNotes review.

Holy shit, i had no idea about that. Didn't even realise lecturers read AN reviews.

But how did they know which student posted the review??? I'm scared now lol

Thanks for that man.

Well i guess there really is a downside to getting 97 in every subject :P

I don't think my lecturers even know what i look like...considering i haven't been to a single lecture -.-

I'd say 20 minutes for the average person? But if you're coming directly from outward-bound public transport, get off at the Queensberry St tram stop and it's < 10 minutes in a straight line!

what hobbitle said! We hear these stories. They're a little bit sad and pathetic though, really. Like, how bad does your career have to be going before you start asking students why they said bad things about you on a VCE forum?

Does anyone know how long it takes to walk from uni to REB?

Google says 27 minutes from Babel to REB at an average of 6km/h. Yes, yes I did check that. Fucking Spanish exams...
