I had spent so long studying that crap, I was annoyed it wasn't there. That said I did own the Gaussian question so it was worth it. Hardest one was the sorting (descending then ascending) for me, and of course the 5 mark "super hard" one that I didn't even attempt.
There was actually a trick to that sorting Q! If you wrote the sort key function that was hinted at, you could have returned (-1 * distance) for the ascending items. Then all your sort function does is sort in descending order based on the sort key. I was so happy when I figured that one out... :P
Btw COMP20005 people did you notice the error in Q1? I'm almost 100% certain the notation for the (n-1)th term in the sequence was wrong. Couldn't possibly have been 2n-2 on the numerator as that makes for an even number and all the numerators were odd.
Hmm, didn't notice it, you're probs right though...

A big win for people who pick C when they don't know the answer lol

Pretty sure if people chose A or D exclusively they'd get like 1 or 2 answers right :/

Mmm yeh, I'm not sure how I'll fare up for the bloody 2X25 mark questions though :/ I just chose the signalling pathway + gene expression technique questions :/ Just rambled LOL

I did the one on membrane potentials for some reason instead of the signalling one, I HAVE NO IDEA WHY. Not sure where I'm going to pick up 25 marks :/
I was going to do the cytoskeleton one at the end, but ran out of time and bullshitted my way through the transcription techniques instead :/ my answer for that was scarily brief and mostly bullshit... :s I'm 100% sure I got maybe 15/25 for that question if I'm lucky (and this is actual certainty, not me worrying about nothing).

I really wanted to do the signalling stuff but I forgot about the minute details so I stuck with the measuring transcriptional gene expression LOL

sigh.... kinda annoying how they haven't given results for CAT 3 yet :/

I'm legitimately worried I lost too many marks on that exam for an H1 :s I know some of my answers left out small details because I forgot them all in the panic of the exam, and I fucked up the transcriptional gene expression techniques massively (I just sort of made up facts about in situ hybridisation and microarrays which weren't even remotely accurate) :/ I think I need to lose fewer than between 24 and 29 marks to H1 the subject, so that only gives me ~ 14 marks to lose elsewhere (since I mucked up that answer so badly). OTL

Bad lol

but you'll be fine if you study like even a little bit

my topic on Mai 68 (I didn't even read the war ones) was like 'mai 68 est-il encore d'actualite aujourd'hui' and i was like 'oui et non' but I used zero evidence hahaha it was 110% my shitty opinion.
the other topic was a quote from page 91, that was like 'De Gaulle comprend qu'il s'agit d'une crise profonde... etc. mais cette situation insaisissable lui echappent.' Explain this quote and do you think something similar could happen today. ... that was a bit fucked up.

The first question sounds much more approachable :O I'm sure you did fine though, its not an easy subject.

I hope I get nicer questions!
