Do the psych department just not release exams from previous years to the library database? Can't find any for Personality Psych.

If anyone has copies of these exams, I'd be very interested to talk to them about completely unrelated matters...

Yeaah, unfortunately the psych faculty don't release past exams :(

There are so many species to learn about and memorise for BIOL10003 mid-semester test... I'm really struggling to do this. :/

Nope, it's Alex Idnurm (new lecturer who replaced Ross Waller) who's making this a nightmare. Rob Day's stuff is just dandy in comparison. :P

Quiz other people, get quizzed, or make acronyms. That is the fastest way to memorise.

Flashcards too. They've been a godsend for the drugs I'm having to memorise in pharm.

Interesting subject though. First few lectures fairly straightforward basic biochem/pharm, then a bit on the nervous system, now a block of lectures that wouldn't be out of place in a law or policy course.
BSc (Hons) 2015 Melbourne

PhD 2016-??? Melbourne

I want to be an architect.

HAHA that's so shit. Ross Waller pretty much started every explanation with "I don't expect you to remember this but...". It was all just "principles" with him.

With Pharm you can recognise what a drug generally does by its suffix (ie -Onol for Beta Blockers); I've found it slightly helpful but I still need to spend time memorising receptors.

We'll probably only start looking at how drugs are used next week.
