Man Austin Health needs a transcript, CV, AND cover letter.
Brb googling what the difference between a CV and cover letter is (srs).
Brb can summarize my qualifications in one sentence.
Brb I work in checkout and have a scan rate of over 90% (H1) just saiyan.
Some work experience is better then no work experience, even if it's completely unrelated.
From memory, an academic CV (for WEHI,) should have work experience, any academic prizes/awards and 'research interests' (which will probably be vague as well at this point in your life.) As with any resume - as short as possible without leaving anything important off.
Cover letter is just outlining why you'd be suitable for that Honours program.
This is more a hurdle requirement then anything - separating those who can be bothered doing it with those who don't

Hold up, does this really work??
I guess it depends on the subject coordinator, probably no, it would just look pathetic.
With bio, they just make people sit a supplementary exam (marked pass/fail to satisfy the hurdle.) No idea how it is with chem. They'll definitely have some process set up - this definitely isn't uncommon.
Email Steven Best and explain the situation. He's a reasonable guy.
