I'm not sure how representing all these proteins as vegetables is meant to aid my learning.
Subliminal messaging to try and get us to eat more vegetables.....NEVER!!!

They moved all the MRBS places to BMP so it shouldn't affect people's chances much - if anything it probably increases your chances. Didn't expect that change though.

Must be from the federal budget :( large cuts hopefully this doesn't affect future job prospects in health related fields.  http://www.smh.com.au/business/federal-budget/federal-budget-2015-nearly-2-billion-in-cuts-to-health-system-20150512-1mzh4c.html

Didn't expect that change though.

Why? It's an easy way to save (a relatively minimal amount of) money, without actually cutting the number of places available for students to study medicine or the number of graduates set to work in 'needy' areas.

Odilia ruined MCB.

I'll admit today's lecture was fast-paced, but that's because we'd fallen behind in the other lectures. For the most part, I've found immunology quite good.

Hey in your sig it says you're interested in M.Eng(Mechatronics) and I'm just wondering how you're satisfying the 25-point Physics prereq to do it. Did you do Phys for Biomed + another physics subject as breadth or something? o.o

physics prereqs? When i looked at it most subjects are allowed to be done without prereqs for them if you get in the course unless I missed something.

I was looking at the Entry requirements and under "Any undergrad degree" it says you need 25-points in first year physics, and I assumed that applies to biomed since we can't do any of those engineering pathways undergrad :/

Pretty sure no one who graduates with a degree in mechatronics ever gets employed anyways

(Not that I can talk. #biomedeng#5evaunemployed)
