Hello friends
Does anyone how i can get an official academic transcript (the one you pay for). I searched online and all i found was that you have the option to purchase one (online) and have it delivered. Yet this will take up to 15 days to process? I need to ASAP. Surely there is a way i can get it faster?

Go to the student services centre in person and ask for one, you'll need to pay via card though

I got it in person last year, so I'm pretty sure they still do it.

"No more than 37.5 points of breadth (three subjects) can be taken at level 1"

Does this mean you can't do more than 3 any level breadths in your first year? Or does it mean you could only take 3 level-1 breadths throughout your whole degree?

the latter ie; you can do 3 level-1 breadths whenever you want but not more than 3 of them

Our Finance class was a guinea pig for a new uni work platform called cadmus.. which is basically a shitty online microsoft word with half the features, no image hosting (you have to source from an image host) and no ability to separate pages (it's a single, giant page)

Well guess what, I linked most of my images from an online screenshot sharer (puush) and by the time it got marked, the images expired and all my graphs/charts/data were missing, which consequently ruined the format and destroyed my marks

Part of me knows it's my own fault because I should have used a more reliable image host, the other part of me is furious that this occurred because they refused to let us submit Microsoft word documents and forced us to use a new and barely tested work platform with insufficient features for work. To compare, Word allows you to host images inside the document, eliminating any risk of image expiry.

To put salt on the wound, they even marked my assignment incorrectly. They couldn't even do basic arithmetic.

Does anyone know if this is sufficient enough to warrant a complaint or do I have nothing? I'm actually really fucking salty over this.

Was this for last year or this semester?
If you've already received your final mark for the subject it'll get very messy trying to fix it now. If it's for a current subject, you should submit a complaint and ask to resubmit your assignment with the same text but include the images.

It's a current subject, summer unit. I just got the mark a few hours ago.

And if anyone else is forced to use Cadmus from now on.. you are warned.

Just by any chance, is anyone here a CHASE (Community Health Advancement and Student Engagement) mentor (or know anyone that is)? I got short-listed for an interview so I would love some deets and advice! :)

i would probably email the subject co-ordinator about it and see what he says, and ask if you could get it remarked but with live links. if you guys are the guinea pigs then i guess he should give some leeway

speaking of finance does anyone know what wam/average across the 3 subjects  is competitive to get into honours? do they check your whole wam or do they just look at derivatives corp fi and investments?
