So just realised I made a huge mistake.....

After busting my wallet on all the clubs today, I just realized I gave them all the wrong email address...how are they supposed to contact me now???

p.s. somehow actuarial ss (ASs) managed to contact me with my wrong email i gave them though. Basically i wrote my email in the form [email protected] whereas it really is [email protected] (without the dot after the first letter). The ASs had my wrong email address on the sender list, but somehow it came through..i tried sending an email to myself using the wrong email but no success...

Gmail (and Google Apps) strip periods in the part before the @ I believe, making the two emails equivalent.

But then how come when i tried sending an email to the address with the period in it, I did not receive anything?

Msg the clubs on facebook, I'm sure they would be happy to change your email

I'm not too sure whether this is the case, but the university provides an alias email. Mine has a full stop too along with other differences. Basically it just means that you don't give other people your "login" email. All mail should still reach the same account. Provided ofc that you gave the right address

So what did everyone end up doing over the 3 month break?

I worked heaps (brain dead job not related to my degree...) and went out a fair bit...

Regret not doing a summer subject to reduce my workload/doing anything that'll help with my degree...

Anyone else feel like they wasted their break?
i did 2 summer subjects + worked.
it was good to be productive but now i need a break LOL

working is still okay because you are earning money (even if its unrelated to your degree). better than staying home all day and watching netflix haha

Is the lecture notes and problem booklet for calc 1 free/extremely cheap from Co-op? Makes sense if you can just download them online.

For the Chemistry tutorial, it says on my timetable that I am in class 5, but we got an email from the Chem department with the timetable of all the tutorial classes and stuff, but there is no class 5?
