So, how similar has the BIOL10004 MST been to the final exam in the past (in terms of difficulty)?
I thought the mid-sem for BIOL10004 was fairly easy in our year, I knew a lot of people that got 100% on it. There were really no tricks to the questions, if you just knew the content you would be able to answer the MCQs in 20-30 seconds tbh (this was for our year though, not sure how it is this year). In the exam the the MCQs were really similar - 20-30 second questions without any tricks. Fill ins were basic as well. At the end you get a 30 mark short answer section where you get three extended questions 10 marks each. That was probably the most challenging bit to the exam, because it requires you to know everything about that particular topic in great detail, like all the little facts. But if you practise writing, develop a structure to the questions (you will get a lot of questions, model answers etc by Dawn so use them) it should be good. Overall BIOL10004 is really not that hard, you just need to memorise really there is nothing else to it, anyone can do that. It was the easiest subject I did last year. You'll do fine, just keep on top of all the content and commit everything to memory, practise the short answer questions early on.
