Hey guys, just wondering any particular easy level2 breadths there were for semester 2? I did Genetics, Health and Society this semester and found the workout to be quite nice for a breadth, so looking for something similar (and interesting - bonus)!

Hey,

Does anyone have the lecture slides for intermediate macro? I didn't decide to do inter micro this semester, will this be a huge problem? :o

Definitely won't be a problem. The course doesn't rely on any of the inter micro topics, and the lecturer (same as last year) teaches things from first principles so prerequisite knowledge is not necessary. :)

I did music psychology this semester and it was a very chilled, very big ''bludge'' subject. All you have to do is ten quizzes, each quiz had four questions. If you get 100% in 8 of the 10 quizzes then you get 40% of the subject mark. And it wasn't really that hard to get perfect in at least 8 quizzes, 7 out of the 10 took less than 20 minutes, all answers on the lecture slides or readings.

Then during exam period you do an assignment worth 60%. This took me a fair bit of time and I'm hoping I did well in it but overall music psychology is very bludgy, the quizzes were very easy. In terms of the content some of it was really interesting some of it very boring, there are a lot of readings to do as well.

So maybe do some research on this subject there is also a really good review up on AN so have a read of that. I might do a review myself soon :)

How do you get a hold of lecture recordings?
On that note, has anybody got Pharmacology lecture slides?

It used to be possible to use a link for any subject and download the recordings without logging in and being enrolled and a student collected and published a large list of echo page links. However this doesn't work anymore because now you need to be logged in + enrolled currently to view the echo page and get the downloads. I spent some time trying to get past this and made some progress but not enough to get access to links without a lot of effort and collaboration with people enrolled, at which point you can just get them to download for you and share anyway... But yeah to my knowledge the only way at the moment is by sharing recordings between students.

And also after going crazy with WAM updates and refreshing last year I PROMISED myself that for this semester I would check my WAM once ALL my subjects have officially been uploaded (so like July 10th ish).

So what is the first thing I do once I get home from my last exam? Yep check my WAM fml. Anyone got any tips on how to avoid there is no point.

Congrats on finally finishing! I also had my last exam today -- feels so good! (I don't think there are any tomorrow, I thought today was the last day of the exam period?)

So far I've stayed strong and haven't loaded my results page but the urge has definitely been there already. My strategy this semester was not just promising myself but promising my friends - my uni friends know me as completely crazy about results and so I want to show them I can hold back!

Also this year final results release is 3pm on Friday 8 July

How do you get a hold of lecture recordings?

Another note I forgot to add:

Sometimes I don't have access to the lecture recordings for a subject, in fact a lot of the time. I still like to find lectures from other places like for example MIT's opencourseware is a huge collection of lectures and notes and things that covers a lot of what I study (maths and computer science, they also have physics / chem / engineering and other stuff) and watching lectures from these subjects that are sort of related to what I'm going to study can be a huge help even though the courses are different. These days there are thousands of MOOCs and lecture series like this available everywhere I've always been able to find something that suits (though I can't speak for pharmacology)

Welp, there goes any hope of getting a H1 in intro econometrics.

To be fair, some of those questions were bloody hard lol (it also felt much longer than the past exams). They might scale it.

Oh and OB results just got released.

From past experience, how fast are results released? Are they released earlier for specific subjects or are they mostly all released on the given date (8th July)

Yeah, they don't seem to mark it lightly (might still be worth getting it inspected just to be sure though).

Yup, Inter Micro is out.

Posting here to hold myself accountable to writing subject reviews (for the first time ever I can't be bothered lol). Just a heads up they may not be 5000 words long this time (lmao that's probably a good thing, I really wonder who even bothers to read mine XD).
