Hey guys, does anyone know if you can do MAST10010 Data Analysis 1 and MAST20005 Statistics in the same semester? The handbook says you cannot do Data Analysis 1 if you've completed Statistics but was wondering whether you could complete them concurrently.

Out of curiosity, at monash, swinburne, rmit etc are tutors actual teachers who teach? and do lecturers at those unis have the "lecture capture is the devil - you can only learn by coming to the actual lectures" mentality?

It is not up yet. The head lecturer (who can post stuff on the LMS) is overseas. The lecture capture link will probably be posted when she comes back (hopefully next week?)

it is possible to get the link yourself by editing the following url:
https://app.lms.unimelb.edu.au/webapps/blackboard/content/contentWrapper.jsp?content_id=&displayName=Lecture+Capture&course_id=_294525_1&navItem=content&href=/webapps/osc-BasicLTI-bb_bb60/frame.jsp%3Fcourse_id%3D_294525_1%26id%3Dlectur%26

replace the course id (294525_1) with your own
this can be found by clicking the subject you want in lms and checking its url
eg for AM2,
https://app.lms.unimelb.edu.au/webapps/blackboard/execute/announcement?method=search&context=course_entry&course_id=_297804_1&handle=announcements_entry&mode=view

so the course id for am2 is 297804_1

so i would change the first url to

figured it out this morning when i was waiting for my lecturer to put the link up lol
probably works without the _1 part of the course id but havent tried it

kind of devastated because i missed out on a quota subject due to my results for spec consideration exams not being added to my marks for those units yet  surely this isn't fair
