Hey guys, I've been playing around my study plan and need some help! (BSc)
So in the study plan, there's 'Breadth subjects' and 'Science and/or breadth subjects'

I did a level 2 breadth last sem (POPH subject) and in the study plan it automatically placed it in the 'Science and/or breadth subjects'
I kind of need it to be in the 'Breadth subjects' to have room for Science subjects I'm planning to switch into this semester
Is this a big deal? Will it move automatically?

Thanks!

It won't move automatically. But Stop 1 should be able to resolve this. I suggest waiting until like week 6 or 7 or something to move it, if you can wait, because Stop 1 is really busy atm.

Yeah if Lecture Capture could actually work for once, that would be great.

I'm sending an e-mail to Current Affair reporting UoM for scamming (boasting top university but constant IT failures etc)

Surely there are more important things to base where you want to go that isn't lecture capture.

Lecture capture usually plays up when semester starts, there are occasional hiccups but I think people sometimes over-exaggerate the frustration.

Not to mention that we like complaining because we know others around us share our complaints.

Would any of the former BIOM30001 students like to describe how demanding the literature and bioinformatics assignment and the preparation for the practical are? My practical and the assignment due date are both in week 3 of semester, and I'm contemplating delivering my oral presentation for EURO10002 in that week too since it would allow me to work on the topic I'm most comfortable with. I'll probably do it anyway at the expense of keeping up to date with lectures, but I just wanted to make sure I'm not making it impossible for myself. :)

EDIT: Never mind the assessment is available on the LMS now so I can deduce it myself. :P

Easy as pie, shouldn't take that long either. If you've got a mate who's done biochem, work with them. We have to do a heap on bioinformatics (Y)

Yeah, I had a look through it. It looks tedious, but not at all difficult. I'll opt to deliver my oral presentation for EURO10002 in week 3 then. :) I'll aim to clear as many assessments as possible before the hell of mid-semester test season begins. =_=
