Luke - see Vincezor's post for the email. It wasn't exactly a direct question so would it qualify for breaking the rules?

This umat prep monopoly system really needs to be destroyed.

I have heard that MedEntry pays X amount of students to go into the test and their job is nothing more than to memorise and report back as much as they can remember...

Yea...they are good at making s1 questions...that's probably an 'assumption' that they are trying to steal questions for profiteering.

I'm no lawyer, but I would like to believe it's a conflict of interest.

Totally agree with your statement though, hence hatred haha

anyone get a med***** email asking for questions from the Umat 2011 paper?

Haha, yes.

---

s1: Rather challenging and was rushed for time.
s2: Completely took me by surprise. Unlike any of the questions I did for prep. Didn't think any of the answers suited the question well. More like a vocab test/kind of dodgy language analysis.
s3: Surprisingly good! :D Happy with it. Less difficult than anticipated.

Are you serious. I'd F***** report them, it is clearly against the rules - especially since they are such a reputable company  ::)

Do you get any reinburstment out of it?
lol leave medentry alone, umat sucks !

section 1 was reasonable, but there were some questions that i had to make an educated gues cause i was running out of time; section 2 was so different to the prep stuff - process of elimination for most questions   ;D section 3 was good - probably the only section i felt reasonably confident with - pick the middle was irritating at times
so glad i read this forum - when i walked out a couple of guys infront of me were just boasting about how easy it was - and i thought i was the only one who thought it was quite difficult at times   :(

So when some people have different questions to another, how do they make it fair, becuase that octagonal question i was talking about was really hard.... and lots of people i talked to didn't have it,

i trust acer to do some weird statistical moderation stuff though, they will probably make it relatively fair in the end.

thoughts/?

UMAT = fml

Just my thoughts on the day

I have heard that MedEntry pays X amount of students to go into the test and their job is nothing more than to memorise and report back as much as they can remember...

Wouldn't at all be surprised

MedEntry said that they 'were unlikely to count' :)

BTW: Did anyone see Jana Rawlinson (formerly Jana Pittman, olympic gold medalist etc.) there, in the afternoon sesh?

oh okay thats good! but how would they make it fair i mean, i spent quite a while on those questions, and also would that mean it was out of 40, since that was 4 questions.
