^^ im rethinking about doing notes anymore and just study straight from the book...highlight everything since i don't want to miss anything....so reckon its a bad idea?? making notes takes way too much time and i hate it..and talk about my atrocious hand writing makes it soo annoying to read...

Taking down notes, and studying straight through your book is a good long run for 2-4 weeks. After-hand, i guess you should do trial exams, and work it through in exam conditions.

It's best not too spend too much time taking notes though. Going into detail on every little thing would be mostly repetitive and time-consuming.
Once you start practice exams you can figure out your weak points and focus most of your notes there.
