I found a bug in this site [inline editing]

If you click the little inline edit pencil () next to any of your posts, and try to save, it doesn't work (just reloads the page) and a JavaScript error is thrown:
Quote
document.forms.quickModForm.subject is undefined
x[x.length] = 'subject=' + escape(...).replace(/\+/g, "%2B");
topic.js (line 313)

As far as I can tell it looks like it's looking for a field and not finding it, so the JavaScript is crashing.

Yeh there has been a few bugs since the upgrade. I think the guys are working on them, but don't know the problems until we point them out.

Yeah I haven't been here for a while. Inline editing is one of the best features of SMF :P

Just to add to the bugs. I'm not sure if this is just me but as soon as the time ticks over to 12:00am in the morning (i.e. the next day). The
"show unread posts since your last visit" shows no results even when there are new posts and topics. It continues to do this, not recognising new posts until you sign out and sign back in. I don't know, I may just be my cookies.

That's me! :D

You sir are responsible for giving me hope on many occasions, and for me spending many hours in front of it. So a simultaneous thank you and damn you.

He's probably regretting not taking advantage of the financial opportunity and not loading the atarcalc page with ads now lol

Huh, weird. Wonder if it's an SMF bug, or a bug in this site.

Nah, I like keeping things clean. Swinburne said they might want to advertise on it towards the end of 2009 but after meeting someone there I never heard back from them  :o
