Hi so im new to this whole atarnotes thing so im not too sure if im posting in the right place.
I was just wondering can anyone help me predict my studyscores?

I really want to get 25 in chem. I got c+ for my exam and im pretty sure my sac average is around 62% , so what score do i need for end of year to get 25? Also for methods my average is 65% but i want to try and hopefully get 33 for my exams so what mark do i need for my exams to attain that?

Btw i know math and chem aren't my strengths but please don't judge me and i appreciate your help.

C+ is typically the state average for chemistry. So if you get C+ for SACs and end of year exam, you are looking at a study score of about 30.

So aim for a C+/B for your end of year.

Same goes for methods, though there's a bit more competition. Try aiming for B/B+.

If you have a B/B+ (not sure since we havent been told exact marks) SAC mark with a mid ranking
and a high A on mid year exam

Is high 30s or low 40s possible?

That depends on your school. If it were Melbourne high, then I would say yes. However chemistry has less waiting on the exam compared to other subjects.

cohort average was B-B+
but no way near MHS standard, so im guessing 40s is out

how come the exam has little weighting? what would be the point of having mid years then? O.o

no, compared to other subjects. I think Chemistry, exams count for 2/3rds overall of your mark, where with other subjects like Methods, it counts for 3/4 overall.
