I would rather take the 7 year option and have more time off/be less stressed by condensing everything. Bludge around at uni as long as it lasts, no matter the literal cost. You know how it is.
Do not see much appeal in accelerating your course. A girl at my work was talking about why she wants to do the Melbourne JD (not currently a Melbourne student) and she was like 'what really appeals to me is that you can condense it into 2.5 years' and I didn't say anything but I was thinking: that really isn't wise, because you pay less and do it in a shorter space of time, but as a consequence your course is very stressful and squishy and this is part of the reason they do not recommend it. Plus, you gain like six months, so what?
But it's okay, she won't get in anyway. I'm delightful.
