In addition, this is what they say:

Impact statement (*)

Applicants who are not in receipt of Centrelink are required to submit a statement of up to 2,000 characters (not words) describing how their financial background has adversely affected their education.

Statement of support (***)

Applicants not in current receipt of Centrelink benefits must provide a statement of support from a responsible person who has the knowledge of your financial situation to confirm your circumstances and comment on the impact.

So in essence, since i am a recipient of centrelink benefits, i don't have to write any of these do i? it doesn't say specifically that i have to :S

Wait a second, my parents receive FTB - Part A, I assumed that meant I am in receipt of Centrelink benefits. Is that correct? OR do i still have to write these statements, this is really confusing.

In the Access Melbourne FTB - PART A thread started by jane1234 she said " The only problem is that VTAC want you to write a statement of impact if you don't get centrelink benefits - which I don't, even if you get the FTB-A. "

I'm really worried and confused now.

i just find it suspicious that all you have to do is send in your CRN number....it doesn't seem like an effective way of seeing who is more in need tof the  scholarship -.- damn VTAC confusing...

But with regards to mine, I have no !@#ing idea, because after reading jane1234's thread they reckon that because my parents receive the FTB - Part A I'm not in direct receipt of any centrelink benefits and hence have to write these statements. That makes no sense though.
