Will attend.

I'm pretty bad at organising stuff too but something to consider would probably be a venue - if it's a public place like a park for a barbecue, then everyone can just bring some food and stuff and we'll be good. (Unless it rains.) Or if someone wanted to host it at their place.

Otherwise if you're having, say, a kids' party at Maccas, then everyone will need to chip in. Just something to think about.

I reckon a pretty open public place would probably be best (probably somewhere in Melbourne). It'd be easier to find and may convince people that are reluctant to not meet up with strangers from the internet to come along.

It's not so much about the number of each sex...how many of the attendees weren't Asian? Genuinely curious, not trying to be offensive. :D
