Oh well Russ, bigger and better things to come for you!

I'm really disappointed about the summer subjects selection. I had a feeling that it would increase, but it's basically the same :(

Hah, next year is going to be horrible, no matter where I end up :P

Summer subjects are always pretty average, they're mostly the ones with high enrolments to cover the kids that fail or need to do them as prereqs. Part of the reason I never did one, I couldn't find any good arts ones :(

Haha, where are you thinking of ending up anyway?

Hmm yeah, but I wasn't really after Arts subjects anyway, I was after Bio! They had Chem 2, really wanted some more Biol subjects which are obviously very popular.

Are there any changes to the old 2011 Handbook? Is there like a changelog?

Well from what i've noticed. Some subjects have changed the semesters at which that subject is offered. Other subjects have completely changed subject co-ordinated. But I mean, there usually isn't any drastic changes between subsequent years. ie)2011 and 2012
2013-2016 || Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), University of Melbourne
2010-2012 || Bachelor of Science (Human Structure and Function Major), University of Melbourne
2009 VCE ENTER: 95.00 || English, Mathematical Methods (CAS), Specialist Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry & Vietnamese

That's normal in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.  Lecturers get thrown around and some subjects are offered in even years, some subjects offered in odd years.  In other words, subjects offered once every two years.

I know! It's like they're trying to make semester one boring.

Interesting :) Keep us posted!

@ acinod - you can check the previous ones (archived from handbook homepage) and then compare the pair. Don't think there's a changelog though.

@ mavisgibbons - it's about time you don't have a timetable I envy.

Sobbing in pain, timetable alludes to a five day week with 9 am starts, 3 of which end at 4:15 including a Friday!

SHH I HAVE A RIGHT TO COMPLAIN.  3 days to 5 days is a big jump >: I reckon I can squeeze it into four with my mastery and three-computer-at-once timetabling skills.

I don't think it's reliable to look at the Timetables now. I mean, BCMB20002 3 weeks before semester (2) had started were all 9am lectures. Therefore, I enrolled in ECOL20001. After planning for hours my ideal timetable in EXCEL, it all went to waste when timetables were open, and BCMB20002 changed to 11am starts and I no longer could do Ecology because there was a clash ='(.
