I'm guessing you go to one of the better schools in Melbourne, because my school would've gone with a brothel-themed celebration.

Well, there were a few kids who dressed as though it were brothel-themed anyway - I had to give one of my friends my robe that I'd made to wear for the day because she was like "it seemed like a good idea at the time...but all the guy teachers...."

My school had 'celebration day' on Wednesday; the theme was 'fantasy' so we had all kinds of crazy characters.

Oh, it's been done every year. Any costume idea has become a 'slutty x', in the same way that anything halloween can be 'zombie x'
School buildings were locked, anything we did to the yard we had to clean up. No pranks happened. Everything was pretty mellow.
Most people went into the city afterwards, and confused the hell out of all the people around. Because I go to an all girls school, some people thought it was promotional for a product or a company or something :/ . Other people thought we had dressed up just to see the queen. <__<'' Some even got on tv.
Then grad night afterwards.

LOLOLOL omg u sooooo go to my school... ;) i don't think I know u though hahhaaa
Happy enough after one hell of a year.

Our school didn't really have a theme, all for themselves and some costumes were really creative :)

I believe some students are letting mice loose at our final assembly as the year 8-11's sit on the floor. Also, the usual things such as placing cling wrap on the toilets and..........GETTING BLIND (i'm a nerd so I don't drink, however, the jocks are going to get smashed).

Had ours today! Really fun - had a 'horror' theme and everyone got involved! :)
Me and a few mates stayed up till 3am making latex wounds haha, and everything the next day pretty much turned into a massive waterfight between yr 12's/ daring teachers/ unlucky yr 7,8,9,10,11 students
And of course, the sluttiness.. :D

We've had a whole week of celebrations - monday: harry potter theme, tuesday: music legends theme, wednesday: gossip girl/TV day (I go to girls school) and then today (Thursday) was muck up ("Celebration") day where we had an army theme (I tie dyed my school dress to be a hippie :D). So yeah... basically I've spent most of my time this week organising costumes and not doing work...
We also get to hold our own assembly which included hitting teachers in the face with cream pies and getting them to participate in tasks such as getting ready for school in 2 minutes, finding an essay in a simulation of our common room and reading bad teacher's handwriting. It was fun!!!

In the two uniform-free Weeks before muck up, we had some dress up days: pj day, on Wednesdays we wear pink (mean girls -I go to a girls school) , zombie/horror (I was Shaun of the dead and only four people got it) :(, ghetto, pirates vs ninjas, other school uniform day. Good times

One of my best friends dressed up as batman and attached flaps to his car so it was the bat mobile. To top it all off he decided, perhaps we should blast the 1989 Batman theme. Made me realise I have some of the best mates I could possibly have too.

Muck up day was epic.
‎"We divert our attention from disease and death as much as we can; and the slaughter-houses and indecencies without end on which our life is founded are huddled out of sight and never mentioned, so that the world we recognize officially in literature and in society is a poetic fiction far handsomer and cleaner and better than the world that really is."

My school gave up on the whole muck-up day thing. Instead they created this afternoon called 'social night' where there's a theme and you come dressed up for that theme. It was a really cheap consolation for muck-up day- we pretty much did nothing the whole afternoon but bum around and take pictures. (girls school shit) The theme was supposed to be 'in class i daydream about...' but we pretty much ignored that and came dressed up as whatever. I came dressed as the Stig,LOL just coz i wanted to dress up as the stig really and I took a picture with my fav teachers car, which he thinks is awesome but its not. (Saab) It was really bad planning for whoever scheduled the day because it was at the same time as interviews/open day for new year 7 students. I can imagine what the parents were thinking seeing my friend dressed in a Pope outfit and a short girl in a white jumpsuit walking past them, especially considering my school is a Catholic school LOL
They gave us pizza though, and that wasnt too bad.

On the last day, the Year 12's get to put on a concert, and I got up with my friend, who played guitar, and gave an AMAZING rendition of 'Hello World' from the Saddle Club. I figured the year levels been putting up with my horrendous singing the whole year at lunch times, one more time wouldnt hurt them :)
